I let Tomory run around with my camera a few times during the trip. Here a few of his pictures with a link below to a bigger gallery of images (I processed his images the along with my my own set of LA photos). I was surprised by how quickly he understood the concept. Point this thing at that thing, press the button to make a picture. My other nephew (roughly same age as Tomory) only seemed to understand my camera as a black box that I handled very carefully—not something I used, and definitely not something that he could use as well.

For some reason, I was thinking it would be easy to put the camera between two facing mirrors and make a recursive image. Not the case. The lens seems to get in its own way, multiplying everything except itself.
